We exist to develop all individuals who recognize their role in the Great Commission by stabilizing and mobilizing each one to evangelize the lost and the unchurched.

 

 

Our Vision

The vision of the Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church is to communicate Christian values and character through Bible-based Christian Education in order to gain spiritual knowledge, spiritual prosperity and to cultivate spiritual maturity of all ages and levels of leadership: to strive with a labor of love, active faith and confidence to support the community’s spiritual, economic, and educational development; to prepare for phenomenal growth as we believe that God will provide a new 1,000-seat Sanctuary to house the 3,000 believers that God will add to the church.

 

 

Our Purpose

It is our firm desire and God-ordained Commission to make a difference in the lives of people by bringing them into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, seeking to teach biblical doctrines and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ that would serve to encourage, strengthen, and foster them personally becoming committed and disciplined members of the Kingdom of God who are fully equipped for the challenges of life, the edification of the saints, the expectations of God and the demands of ministry.

 

It is our desire to transform people who daily seek and are led by the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit, study and meditate on the word of God, gladly submit to the will and faithfulness of God, and stand on the promises and principles of God.

 

 

What We Believe

We believe in God, the Creator of the Heavens, the Earth and all things.

We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God who is The Savior, Redeemer and Restorer of all.

We believe in the Holy Spirit who dwells with and within those who are believers.

We believe there is no greater demonstration of believing in God than to become and exude tireless and relentless love.

What we believe is informed and inspired in the word of God. It is our prayer that you establish a personal relationship with the Lord and discover purpose, success, and most importantly, the

way, the truth and the life in Jesus Christ.

 

 

Mt. Calvary is a place where all people can encounter God, faith and community in an authentic, relevant and uplifting environment. It is a place where you will be taught the word and encouraged to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. It is a place where you will soon discover that where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom. The ministries of Mt. Calvary are dedicated to serving a variety of needs that exist in our community while building meaningful relationships with others on their journey to wholeness and sanctification. You will discover incredible people, inspiration and support for your dream, along with valuable resources and information. No matter where you are in life, we pray that at Mt. Calvary you will serve and grow. Mt. Calvary will always strive to offer every member opportunities to grow and opportunities to serve. Our focus will always be:

-Studying and applying the word of God to live a fulfilled and powerful life daily (2 Timothy 3:15; James 1:22)

-Meeting regularly as commanded by God to build and affirm each other in the faith (Hebrews 10:23-25; Ephesians 4)

-Creating an atmosphere conducive to learning, growth, service to God and one another. (Ephesians 4)
